Wai Shan

My sister, Wai Shan was stopping me from posting these gorgeous pictures of hers. She thinks her nose look too big and her smile is awkward and her hair is messy whatever whatever. 

We all go through that awkward teenage years when we are not confident about ourselves, especially our physical appearances. That phase when we are unsure of who we are and what we are gonna do, uncertain of our goals, dream of looking and being like someone else, hoping we will be cool and awesome one day. Let me tell you, you're beautiful, just the way you are.

Wai Shan is my first guest for FACES, something that I always want to do to not only practise portrait photography, but also to record these beautiful faces in a natural way.
