Chinese New Year At Home

Welcome to our home!

My mum is our very own talented interior designer. When it comes to special occasion she will put extra effort on creating a festive ambience in our house. We even had a big, well decorated Christmas tree in our living room last Christmas. Since it's Chinese New Year, of course she will make it BIG by painting the whole house RED!

Red colour symbolizes good luck for Chinese. I love how red is everywhere but not too overwhelming as the bright colours are well balanced by the earth tones and green wall. It's exciting and cheerful enough just by looking at the decors. My aunts were very dedicated into this whole new year thingy as well, busy cleaning, decorating and all.

CNY is very happening here!
